Raising awareness is key to driving positive change. By spreading the word about environmental issues and the importance of responsible actions, we can inspire others to join the cause. Together, we can create a ripple effect of awareness, fostering a community that values and protects our natural resources. Join us in raising awareness and be a catalyst for a more sustainable and mindful world.

How Does It Work?

The EML - Bottom Clean Up project, hosted by Save Eagle Mountain Lake, Inc., is an initiative aimed at restoring and preserving the beauty and health of Eagle Mountain Lake. The project works through a collaborative effort between trained divers, volunteers, and the community.

First, we identify areas of the lake that require attention due to debris, trash, and pollutants. These areas are often ecologically sensitive, and their cleanliness is crucial for the well-being of the lake's ecosystem.

Next, we organize regular clean-up events where trained divers and volunteers work together to remove debris from the lake bottom. Equipped with appropriate gear and safety protocols, divers dive into the water, collect trash, and bring it to the surface. Volunteers on boats or shoreside assist in collecting, sorting, and disposing of the collected debris in an environmentally responsible manner.

We also emphasize the importance of education and awareness. Through workshops, presentations, and outreach programs, we educate the community about responsible lake usage, water conservation, and the impact of pollution on the environment. By empowering individuals with knowledge, we strive to create a culture of environmental stewardship and inspire sustainable practices.

The EML - Bottom Clean Up project operates on the principles of community engagement and collaboration. We actively seek partnerships with local schools, organizations, and government entities to maximize our impact and promote long-term sustainability.

Together, we can make a tangible difference in the health and preservation of Eagle Mountain Lake, ensuring its beauty and ecological balance for future generations to enjoy. Join us in creating a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable lake environment.
